At the beginning, I noticed the graceful, meaningful gestures of ancient people on the Dunhuang frescoes. I think this is a good place to start. So I shot this group of gestures. I chose a variety of ancient gestures which come from the Dunhuang fresco and some tradition paintings and put them into the modern life scene.The important thing is, these gestures were only used by Asian, by Chinese. They express people’s ways of thinking and behavior which is pretty different from western people.
